Spectre.ai’s Reverse Futures allow you to trade TESLA in the past…

At first, the title of this post may leave traders and investors bewildered. How would a trader go about trading an asset in the past if it’s already happened? There’s spot trading where traders use technical and fundamental analyses (or in today’s hopium driven markets, newsflow, fomo and hype) to make speculative investments and then futures markets where they can trade the expectations of where prices of an asset will be, in the future. But how does one trade the past when no broker offers this privilege?

Actually this feat is now entirely possible owing to Reverse Futures, a brand new asset class launched by Spectre.ai which allows traders to speculate on real world equities, but historically. Imagine being able to go long Apple, Tencent, Microsoft, Google or TESLA before they became what they are today. The asset classes are synthetically constructed from historical price data and then streamed forward in time.

They are tamper proof in that a trader cannot simply go back to a particular date in the past and predict with 100% certainty the price movement. However, they are not random and follow the price trajectory over time. With a heavy net long bias, through the years, in all global major equities now available on the Spectre.ai platform, this providers traders with a great edge.

But where things get interesting is the returns that can be generated from trading Reverse Futures. Payouts are in the 90% range and can peak at 400% for 3 consecutive winning trades. This is, of course, assuming the trader opts for a digital contract structure as opposed to a covered CFD (C-CFD), which allow traders on Spectre.ai to trade CFDs on Reverse Futures, without any leverage and defined gains and losses, prior to entering.

What further makes Reverse Futures unique is that they are open for trading on weekends. The Reverse Future asset class will expand to include small-midcap equities as well across major countries. By the end of 2021, the group expects to have a few hundred prominent equities around the world available to trade on Spectre.ai. These are/will be available not just in Reverse Futures format but also traditional spot trading of equities.

Happy Trading!
