Client Registrations Climb 300% in Strong Y3/Q3 Results

Spectre.ai delivered a satisfactory Q3 2020 (October to December 2020), headlined by continued acceleration in new customer registration growth, with nearly 25,000 new traders registering on the platform. This is up 300% from the previous quarter (c.6,000 registrations) and up from 4,477 for the same period in the previous year.

This is our strongest Q3 growth in the 3 years since we launched, and is driven by expansion across all unrestricted geographies, led by Africa and other regions in Asia.

This period was once again dominated by coronavirus, massive government stimulus packages, and cuts to interest rates. Historically during recessions or economic slowdowns some industries still do reasonably well, or even thrive due to changing patterns of consumption and behaviour; our products in trading and gaming are disruptive and in financially lucrative sectors, thus, they are well positioned to withstand recessions. Hence why growth and momentum across the business has been maintained, and our operating results have continued to show improvement.

Y3 Q3 Full Results:

• The number of traders by the end of this quarter rose to 5,259 with 1,408 of these actively trading during this quarter.
• The total number of registrations is now at nearly 75,000. As already mentioned, a third of these — some 24,847 — registered within this quarter alone.
• Volume traded during this quarter was $3,754,256 (all time high)
• Volume traded since launch: $24,741,340.
• Winnings paid out during this quarter: $1,625,444.
• SXDT Rewards paid out during this quarter: $172,260.
• SXUTs bought and burned: 183,696.
• Decentralisation factor dropped to 1.15%, the lowest level we have seen.

A significant feature set including a range of new assets in many new sectors is to hit the platform in a few weeks. This will further serve to differentiate amongst competition and offer superior, more ethical trading alternatives for traders.
